The children in the Orange Classroom are participating in the ESERO Space Goes to School for Science Week programme. Today, they got to virtually meet with an astronomer from the Blackrock Castle Observatory in Cork. She told us all about her job, and the work that takes place in the observatory. She also told us information about the planets and the solar system and where to look for particular planets in the night sky. The boys and girls then asked her some very interesting questions. It was very enjoyable.
